I look at myself in the mirror
and i say
In every reflection there is a reality
and every reality is true.
a million reflections, a million realties
and every one is new.
so next time you look in the mirror
and baby i know you do
look yourself in the eye and ask
which reality are you?

i wrote this all in my head one day when i was outside at night and looked at a peice of glass and saw my reflection, i looked at it for a while, and started contemplating things because i'm weird like that, anyway i came up with the idea thought of the words in my head while staring at the window and then ran inside to type it out on the computer, and also tried to improve it a bit from my original thoughts.

I look at myself in the mirror And you do this how, when, why? Show, don't tell- use your senses, compare it, use some sort of poetic device. You'll never make it by- ...did the person who first commented say 'pritty?'- saying this so bluntly.
and i say Wow. Whoop. Dee. Doo. Personify the words, maybe.
In every reflection there is a reality Oh dear God. I can tell where it's going already, and that's bad. Unelss there's some sort of breath-taking shock at the end- which there isn't- I don't even want to waste my time.

Try again.

such a simple yet intruiging theme.

Carried out very well. You havent need to extrapolate to make the message meaningful.

I like it.
